This User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the use of the Step Up Together® Drill Kits and related materials (“Drill Kits”) provided by Primary Maternity Care LLC (PMC) through the Step Up Together® program.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Drill Kits, you agree to the terms of this Agreement.

1. Purpose of the Drill Kits

Step Up Together Drill Kits are designed to support healthcare teams in conducting simulation-based emergency drills and quality improvement activities within their own clinical practices and partner organizations.

These tools are part of the Step Up Together program, which provides tools, coaching, and community to strengthen interprofessional emergency preparedness across levels and locations of care.

The Drill Kits are provided to support internal training and quality improvement efforts among clinical teams, including community birth practices, hospitals, EMS agencies, and other healthcare organizations.

2. Permitted Uses

Users may:

1. Download and use the Drill Kits for internal educational, simulation, and quality improvement activities within their own organization or clinical practice.
2. Use the Drill Kits to conduct Partial Transfer Drills or Full Transfer Drills with their internal teams or established clinical partners (such as EMS or referral hospitals).
3. Adapt logistics or operational details of a drill to reflect local practice environments for the purpose of conducting a drill.

Use of the Drill Kits must remain non-commercial and focused on improving emergency preparedness within the user’s own organization or care network.

3. Prohibited Uses

Users may not:

1. Use the Drill Kits to offer or provide consulting, training, facilitation, simulation services, or technical assistance to other organizations for compensation or as part of a consulting practice.
2. Use the Drill Kits as part of commercial educational programs, simulation center services, or professional consulting services.
3. Sell, license, sublicense, or otherwise monetize the Drill Kits or derivative materials.
4. Adapt, modify, or reproduce the Drill Kits for the purpose of redistributing them to third parties.
5. Remove or obscure any copyright, attribution, or branding associated with Step Up Together® or Primary Maternity Care.
6. Represent themselves as authorized trainers, facilitators, or partners of the Step Up Together program without written permission from PMC.

If you are interested in facilitating drills, offering training, or integrating Step Up Together materials into consulting or simulation services, please contact PMC to discuss licensing or partnership opportunities.

4. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All Drill Kits and related materials are the intellectual property of Primary Maternity Care LLC and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws.

The Drill Kits are provided under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for the permitted uses described in this Agreement.

No ownership rights are transferred to users.

5. Redistribution

Users may not distribute, publish, or share the Drill Kits outside their organization.

If another organization is interested in using the Drill Kits, please direct them to www.stepuptogether.com to obtain materials directly from the official source.

6. Attribution

When referencing the Drill Kits in presentations, publications, or internal reports, users should attribute the materials as:

Step Up Together® Drill Kits, developed by Primary Maternity Care LLC.

7. Disclaimer

The Drill Kits are educational tools designed to support training and quality improvement activities.

They are not clinical guidelines, medical advice, or a substitute for professional clinical judgment.

Users remain responsible for ensuring that drills and related activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, institutional policies, and safety standards.

8. Termination

Primary Maternity Care LLC reserves the right to terminate or revoke access to the Drill Kits if a user violates the terms of this Agreement.

Upon termination, users must cease using and distributing the materials.
